Wood Wick Use Guide
Wooden wick candles create ASMR like sound and relaxes our mind. They burn hotter than a cotton wick candle and so this May discolour the wax, this does not affect the performance of the candle and is completely normal. If you don't trim your wicks then the candle will burn very hot and the flame will be too big. This will create soot and uneven burning. If anytime the flame is very big please extinguish the candle and trim the wick to 1/4 inch after it cools and hardens. If your candle is not staying lit chances are that you have trimmed your wick more than what is recommended. Wood wick candles will vary in burn profile and consistency. Due to the nature of the raw wood material, no two wood wicks are exactly the same. This may cause variations in how they burn.
